2008 4.0 Major Zone Winners & Finalists

Abiline - Winner: Tuyen Nguyen Runner Up: Bo Bassett
SAPTA - Winner: Fernando Ontiveros Runner Up: James Murray
Gallery - Winner: Roberto Narajos Runner Up: Matthew Schlensker
Corpus - Winner: Ismael Dutchover Runner Up: Scott Flores
Waco - Winner: Forrest Feuille Runner Up: William McKinney
Tyler - Winner: Ismael Dutchover Runner Up: Tuyen Nguyen
Alamo - Winner: Anthony Jones Runner Up: James Murray
FW - Winner: Forrest Feuille Runner Up: James Murray

Two things: #1 Obviously a bit more diversity on the winners list without Jason Kern running all over the 4.0's like he did last year

#2 Where the hell is Foad? Protest to stay down at 4.0 and not make one final? What is up with that?

Where is Foad you ask? Well, he skipped a few of these tourneys to suckle and nurse his poor injuries. But he also played in a bunch of them. And bitched his way to a loss/loss in just about every one.
Foad is not a good guy. He is pretty much a dick. No appeals needed this year. He has fully earned his 4.0 rating.

Ismael and Tuyen seem like nice guys. But their tennis games are ugly. They don't win based on tennis skills. They win based on athleticism. But they do win a bunch.

Jamie Murray.....he is one wierd dude.

Forest is the dominant 4.0 singles guy. If he enters it he probably wins it.

Looks like Foad gets into the final eight due to the fact he is the only one who earned points last Nov. in the Simply the Best tournament. 376 point in one tournament is spotting a player quite a few points. Murray got in last year because someone else didn't enter. He earned no points.Fair will be over with by November. Such is life.

Beaumont is looking for more open players in the Labor Day Tourney. If you win the men's open division you will get to play doubles with Marty Fish and Robby Generpi down here. If you go to the USTA Texas section you'll get more info on that.

Long live Lord of the Strings, Thomas Reader. That's right, Yeah...

Reader, the Foad you know is the suck up who kisses your ass every time he gets a chance. Watch how he treats his opponents in a match he is losing or loses, you will lose all respect for him just like the rest of us have.

I notice Dallas players are winning all the doubles, and Forrest is the best singles player. Houston pretty much sucks this year at the 4.0 level.

Forrest is a dominate force in 4.0 no doubt. He should have no problem in winning the remaining MZ tourneys on the calender.

Once again I seriously doubt Reader even reads this anymore. It's probably some poser using other peoples names. As much as I would love to have Lord of the Strings back,he's probably taken the "high"road if you know what I mean.

Hey,I'm a 3.5 and I just moved here from California.I must say, not only is your weather shitty,so are your 5.0s!I was playing my mixed 3.5 semi-final(which we dominated!)at the Alamo City tournament, when I stumbled upon the men's 5.0 final. The younger guy Smith wasn't bad,but the overweight, older, grossly pierced gentleman was obviously a 4.0 or 4.5 at best!I mean,I walked up when the old guy was already down something like 4-2 in the third set.But I thought that it was a men's 4.0 consolation final!!I'll bet my corvette that I could easily get 4 games in a set against the roomy, obviously out of shape individual that I saw in SanAntonio.Does anyone know his name?

Oh Lord of the Stings, you better hope Reader doesn't read that last one, cause he'd probably rip you a new one.

Hey Chip from Cali,

You should play Tournament Sectionals in San Antonio in September and let Thomas Reader, aka Lord of Strings that. I'm sure he will gladly give you a go at getting the games from him.

There is no Chip from Cali. What a joke. Just come out and take a rip at Reader if that is what you are after. "Does anyone know the older gentleman's name?" cause I am too much of a fucking retard to look up the DRAW and see who the two FINALISTS were.

Dude if there are any line call disputes then call a referee.

Anonymous said...

There are players in 4.5 and 5.0 who have reputations for calling bad lines. If you draw their name in a tourney, plan on getting a referree before the match is over.

I think willie from wyoming is another name for thomas reader.

Hey Guys,

Who's playing where for Labor Day weekend? Beaumont or Austin.

Beaumont has hot weather and cash prizes. Austin just has hot weather.

Where are the 4.5 and 5.0 men headed? Deadlines are approaching!

Too hot man, I'm going swimming instead.

Hey Chip from Cali, bring that corvette of yours to the sectionals tournament in S.A!Make sure you bring that pink slip too bitch!I'll bet you my 2007 double cab that Reader beats you 6-0 6-0!! I'm a 4.5 and he beat me twice last year and badly at that!So I think he would destroy you!

Anonymous said...

Hey Chip from Cali I bet you my Pinto that lord of the strings aka thomas reader will also beat you 0,0 without breaking a sweat.

Anonymous said...

Hey,it's a deal!I'll be there!Does anyone know his number so I can set this thing up?You might think because I'm a 3.5 that I don't have a chance, but I am very steady and would wear that Reader guy out.Hell,I might even beat him if the conditions were right!

LOL, Chip you crack me up dude.

Hey Chip from Cali, you better hope Reader doesn't read your last comment, cause he will rip you a new one.

Any of you guys thinking of letting your racquets do the talking, instead of your mouths? Sign up for a tournament and prove it on Labor Day weekend. Beaumont and Austin are not too far away. Deadline for Beaumont is TODAY. Austin's deadline has surpassed.

Way too hot dude. I'm going swimming instead.
