Congratulations to Tim Green and Omon Dibua for their performance this past weekend in the Beaumont Labor Day Tournament. They played 3 tie breaker sets in the final of the Open Doubles event, but fell a few points short of the win.
By the way, I want a rematch against you guys one day!

It was good to see some of you guys at Beaumont last weekend. Boy the weather was sure 'Hot & humid'.
Also, good luck to everyone playing in the Sectionals this weekend. See you all there at the players party at the main hub in McFarlin TC tomorrow night.
Was there a prize for winning the Open doubles? I thought I heard something about that.
The Beaumont Labor Day Tournament is a cash prize tournament. Has been for several years now. We're not talking large amounts of cash here, but I think my brother and I split $100 or $125 for winning the 4.5 doubles a few years ago. Not sure what amount the Open players split.
